in the MD/DC/VA area its hard enough to play with nitro RC cars and even harder to play with gas. The noise gets you kicked out of everywhere since most people live in the DC Metro area. It's hard to find a spot to play. Electric has a huge following here but not so much nitro/gas.

RE: HPI baja 5b
Thanks guys. I have been to the HobbyTowns in Fairfax, Rockville and Laurel. No luck. One guy asked me what a baja 5b was. I do frequent hobby hangar in Chantilly. Thats my source for giant scale airplanes. But even Minh in the car dept. admits there is very little market in the area and don't stock very much. I will however vist the HW in Fredrick. Rumor has it that there is an Baja5b covert group racing in the area between Fredrick and Hagerstown. I've been sitting here staring at a new pair of Hostile nightmare knobbies and no inserts for 'em. I've already ordered like a 1/2 dozen pr for all the other tires. But I'm not a patient man!! Thanks again all!!

Seriously, I'm not patient. I'll pay retail. I don't care. I ran my 5b on the grass and strip a tire and foam in a turn. Been running on road tires and they suck. I did order a pair of pro-lines on eBay but I want to have a retail source in a pinch.
