Long time no see..
In early June the buggy was ready to go to car shows, and then the whole summer was pretty busy.
The brushless drive system didn't really work so now i run a 24v dc wheelchairmotor instead it starts mutch better and is totaly quiet.
Everything has worked perfectly all summer so this winter the oly thing to build is some controls in the car så my son can learn to drive next year!

This project is very similar to the one I proposed for my friend and I to work on. But, he would rather use Traxxas, and almost nothing else. I like some Traxxas vehicles too. But trying to start a build like this with him is like wanting to play with your G.I. Joe toys, and your best friend wants to play with his sister's Barbies. lol.
Sweet ride. Love the design you worked for the front end.
I want to start mine soon. It won't be as precise and complex, but it's gonna be pretty cool.

Rydh,
I come and take a look at this thread time after time, I have two little boys btw. DO you still have the rear diff/gearbox you made up? Or still using it driven by the wheelchair motor now?
I only ask as I am keen on the set up and if you have it still, I would like to make an offer for it for my truck project.
Kindest regards,

Kindest regards,
When i replaced the outrunner motor i only changed the motor to a bruched one från a wheelchair, i dont use the wheelchair gearbox so the wormgear and diffassebly i first made is still in use.
I'm in the process of building a bit more simple RC gocart for my Brothers son and for that build I'm planning on using the complete gearbox and motor från a wheelchair, and knowing what i know now i would go for a motor and diff from a mobilityscooter.
