trying to find a new gas cap for the nutech, but I have to buy the entire gas tank from what i have gathered.. The seal on the inside has gone to **** and needs to be replaced.. not sure if I can just run somewhere to get that replaced.

http://www.nutechracingusa.com/fueltankcap.aspx no need to purchase a complete tank just to get the cap, or we also have the alloy gas caps for them as well. From what I see the HPI and Nutech caps are difference I haven't tried one from a MCD yet but I'm doubtful they will work all the manufactures seem to have a little different size cap.

just to give an update, bought the nutech gas cap and it is crap.. the inside just falls apart and loses it seal and leaks.. this is after one tank of gas with premium fuel from shell gas and sitting with gas in it for a while. I will now be ordering the FG gas cap.
