I was out sweating my ass off marking the layout today. We are 75% done with the markings but then we had a thunderstorm...

Ya'll planning on having many jumps? I'd like to take a trip up to run on it once it's ready.

Any of ya'll local boys feel that earthquake today? I was at my mom's place in Buckingham about 55 miles from the epicenter. Shook the house right darn bad. Knocked some pictures off the walls and things off the tables and desks.

I was in Arlington/Downtown DC when it happened. Just under a year ago there was another earth quake but in my hometown of Gaithersburg, it was only in the mid 3s i think but this one almost hit 6. Lucky this Earth quake was not long or else lots of dmaage would have been done. My entire office building shook like it was being bombarded with canons.

Sorry for the thread hijack but I figured this would be the thread for local guys.

We had a 4.2 aftershock a little after 8pm. I'm glad this stuff isn't common here on the east coast like it is on the west coast. They can keep these darn quakes..lol.

OK, for all you folks that want to hang out at the track, this Sunday (5/20/2012) looks like a good time. We know the track needs a little grooming, so be prepared to help out smoothing things out. Please PM me for the directions and info...
