Bought an estate collection of 1/4 scale .. what to do with them?
I went to an estate sale today (last day of the sale) and ended up buying all of the RC stuff that was left over. I was told that it has been sitting since 2004. I got 3 rolling cars (1 mostly complete, 1 sorta complete, and 1 with wheels), 3 frames, 40 tires/rims, 5-6 engines, carbs, pipes, parts, etc.
I am going to try to get the most complete car going (first car below). I suspect that the carb will need a rebuild or replacement and I am going to need to find a receiver/transmitter and battery set up. It looks like this car has 2 servos to steer and one for throttle. It has a large (6 cell) battery pack. I don't know what the brake set up is (if any). I didnt get any of the radios. What would you recommend for a radio setup? Should I buy a complete radio/servo/battery package?
Also regarding the other cars ... are these frames built to a standard spec? Could I get all the parts I need to complete them (suspesion, gears, etc) from a vendor?

If you want to sell them I'd recommend listing them in the RCU Classifieds (ads are free) or try ebay.

Mike identified one of the Cars as a pro1 and that's the car that I am going to try and get going (appears to be current with parts available). I need a radio recommendation (mike said Spektrum). Anyone have other thoughts?
I may also build out the truck since it is pretty complete.
The rest of the stuff (3 mostly bare frames, 1 roller, bodies, differentials, engines, etc) will be sold. If it costs too much to get the pro car going I may sell the entire lot.

I did a little more digging tonight and it looks like the mostly complete car has a futaba receiver (fpr113ip) on 77. Any idea what a compatible radio would be for this receiver?
Here a few more pictures of the lot. If anyone has any idea who made these frames or what they are I would appreciate knowing.

Holy crap, that's a lot of gear!
[X(]
Whatever you paid for it I'm sure you'll get it back by selling stuff piece by piece.

You may get some good coin for that little differential/rear axle if it's in good nick. any idea what make it is? items like that would be getting rarer these days.
