xknacx...that is a nice collection.....I can't show you mine, I haven't got it yet. I have an FG Monster truck pre-ordered but hard to say when they will ever be released.

What are the two trucks on the floor? Is one a New Era stadium truck? What is the silver/blue truck?

xknacx,

Do you fix them too? I just noticed the broken hub on the #1 beetle, the broken nose on the F1 in the top corner, and that room is simply too "clean" to look like any major repairs have ever taken place. Here are two photos showing most of my R/Cs though most of them are not as large as what is in your collection.

silver and blue truck is a new era monster truck. I do full restoration on the cars. Some are in different stages of complete restoration. I even have a couple I have been doing scratch build on. That room is just 1/3rd of my garage. What you dont see is a full shop with a welder, lathe and a full size muscle car!!! Whats the nascar? do you race qsac?

The large #3 is quarter scale and there is a QSAC track about 19 miles from where I live. Although I have ran my car on the local area track which is very nice, I don't race QSAC since I spend most of my time racing Kyosho Mini-Zs. I've also been thinking about picking up an FG F1, but as most of us probably know that would fall under ROAR, not QSAC. There is also a very small lexan #3 body that I customized to fit on a Kyosho Mini-Z-MR-02mm and to match the quarter scale NASCAR Dale Earnhardt car.

It's one of the few cars I purchased used and although the chassis reminds me more of a Pro1Racing chassis, the body looks like the older New Era 1/4 scale car. There are a few "topless" photos on my home page under "RC - Large Scale"--A website I should update sometime.

I am married. My wife actually likes the hobby. She helps inventory when I buy large lots of parts. She also helps do research on cars when I need it. Right now she is doing a full restoration on my RACO indy car full options! Why would you want 2 fg's ?? I think they make a pretty good product. Just too bad they steal their designs. I found the marder did not like soft dirt too well... I think the truck version will be better with the bigger tires.

I am partial to 1/4 scale. Nothing is like seeing that 1/4 monster truck come around a corner at you!!! It is sweeeet. Brings a tear to my eye.

I have two 1/4 Raco Jac Rabbits in my collection. They are awsome. But I have one for sale on RCU.

The reason I want 2 FG's is 1 is the Monster Beetle and the other will be the Monster Truck, though I have not seen the Truck yet the Beetle is a REAL nice R/C, and the truck being practialy the same with some differances will make a nice pair..

ok,... here are some 1/4 scale pics,... some old, some new. Also a few videos.

http://www.redgreenbob.com/proofs/po...cale/index.htm

My car(s) are the #17's (Best Buy, DeWalt, Mountain Dew)

Waiting (impatiently) on my FG monster truck

Edit: Tigger,... looked at your pics,... the car is a WCM K1-E model, not a Pro-1. It's the same chassis I run with, although there have been a few small updates to the frames in the past few years.

Thanks, I thought it was one of the two and I was hoping someone could tell by looking at the other photos. I just don't run it enough and hang out with the local area QSAC club enough to know much about 1/4 scale. Z's are more my size--they are easier to carry and work on. The RCP Track is also closer since I have my own.

Edit: Good going on the race. I'm assuming that is you holding the checkered flag standing in front of the Best Buy car wearing the DeWalt jacket. Go for the Dew!

Yea, it's pretty tough to run anywhere but at the track with those cars. As I said before, I'm impatiently waiting for my FG monster truck so I can go anywhere with it.

I'm planning on selling off all my 1/4 scale gear too since (unfortunately) my local track is about an hour away, and race dates have been moved to fridays. (Since I have a job, that means I can't race anymore)

Yea, that was me in the pic with the flag,... one of my wins from last year. Still not sure if I like this years Dew car paint job as much as the Best Buy one,... something about the green color probably.

You need to get a 1/4 scale stadium truck or monster truck if you want to go anywhere!!! I am not really into that FG monster since its really just the marder with truck tires and a frame brace. Seems to me that FG is really trying to get rid of the old marder parts.

Received two more little guys in the mail today. Still expecting one more.

entity,
Since I've seen truck bodies on car chassis, I'd suggest checking QSAC.org for used unless you actually want a truck chassis like the older New Era trucks. A few people on the forum have also built their own large scale truck chassis, so you may just want to start a new thread "wanting to purchase".

The handling on those snowmobiles looks real bad. But is really cool.

this one comes with like 3 different treads and 2 sets of skis... It has large tires on the front, like 1/8 scale buggy tires for the steering that go through the front skis... looks cool from the pics and in the vid I saw, It did about 40.... so good enough for me... this is my first large scale truck or car or buggy or whatever it's called... ATV so, I'm pretty excited...

What you got is a 1/8 scale snowmobile. I have seen a 1/4 scale snowmobile and it is 2 times the size with a g 23 motor in it. not a nitro engine. I have seen alot of people buy it then sell it.

1/8 scale. I have seen it and i was'nt impressed. the track sticks a lot and you can only run on warm winter days. Nitro dos'nt work well in winter. the 1/4 scale handles much better and looks more realistic, but they don't make it anymore.
