Most of the guys wondering if the Smartech Traveller or the Duratrax Firehammer can bash, here is the proof;
[link]http://www.rcpics.net/member/OzForce[/link]
I'm working on a vid but Rcpics is really starting to piss me off[:@], my vid is 19.1MB and the limit is 19MB lol, it'll be up soon.
Only thing i broke (out of my own stupidity)[sm=bananahead.gif] was bent rear chassis (under rear diff) coming out of a halfpipe and landing hard on the rear, other than that I'm one happy customer!!!!
I've got about 10 bash pics there, as well as my Hyper 7 bash vid and my older brothers Madforce pics.
ENJOY

Sounds good Bob...I'd love to come play!! I'll be in OKC April 15,16,17 also for the annual Southwest Street Rod Nationals. Lets chat about a 1/6 scale play day.

I agree 34Ford, i don't like the truck. The Off Road Beetle differs from Monster Beetle very little. They are all based on the Marder chassis but the ORB has an under tray and adds some realism to the car plus keeps it clean inside. The ORB beetle also uses the stock Marder tires and will also accept the 1/6 truck racing slicks which are bigger than the touring car slicks and look better on the Beetle imo. You can use these same tires and wheels on the MB but it looks a little goofy imo (no fenders). The ground clearance between the two is minimal but with the MB you can go on-road and off-road without changing tires resulting in very little tire wear on the BF tires. The stock knobby tires don't last very long on the street but it only takes a few minutes to swap tires. It boils down to personal pref and what you like. I will post some pictures of my Beetle tonight with slicks on it.

Sounds great...I always look forward to the Street Rod Nats coming to town. I took my '65 Shelby Cobra and cruised down Meridian last year. However, I think the biggest fun of the weekend is getting down to Meridian early in the evening, finding a good spot to set up your lawn chairs, and watching all the nice street rods go by.
