No ive fitted it, kinda.

I took the red off of the spark plug, the twisted the cable from the red thing. Then i twisted the cable into the stork bit on the metal cap....so the copper wire in the cable had to touch the rod in the stork??

Then i put insulation tape over the join to make sure they don't come apart.

Its that it, oh and plug the cap over the spark plug.

Thank you.

I not really used to doing this like this on an engine...it kinda scares me...but i want to get better at it.
Its a real shame that my mums dad (farther) is no longer with us as he would be able to tell me, guide me and help me where the engine is concerned. As he used to do all his own services on his cars, he would not let anyone else touch them and the fact he was in RAF and was mentioned in dispathes not once, but twice. SO he would have been a great help where my FG marder is concerned. So thats one reason why i have not or going to get a big bore kit as i don't know what i would be doing to do it correct!

I know that the kits will come with fitting instructions...but who uses them these days and i have a large variaty of tool and i can use me dads and my granddads (mums side) tools thats not a problem, it just them i might bugger it up in some way. I think if i was to go ahead i would let an expert do it like a firend in the hobby.

I hate using those unreliable resistor caps. I do this instead, and it kills all RF from the real source of problems....."HIGH TENSION LEAD". I've even used this set-up with AM radios succsessfully.
