Default tuning

Im soon going to get a fg bigfoot and was wondering how hard it is to tune the engine. I have had bad luck with nitro in the past with the engine going out of control. Do you have to even touch the needles? And is it posible to have the needles so off that starts with loads of throttle even with the trim setting set up right?[]

i can use all of the info you have about these engines.

thanks
