Default Camping Fuel????

So you guys are running this stuff through your engines?

Camping Fuel:

Coleman Fuel:

White Gas:

I know they are all the same thing, and that they are basically purified gasoline, but doesn't it cause engine knocking? It seems like the low octane rating would cause overheating and severe engine damage. But, if I knew for sure, I wouldn't be asking.

Also, if it works for 20-something CC engines, would it work for a larger engine, such as a 2 stroke, 50CC engine on a mini bike?

Yes it works. No I don't use it.... Petrol (gas) is cheap enough. Zenoah engines like a higher octane fuel (they state super plus 98 as an ideal fuel)

At least with diesel ya don't have to spend money on that pesky oil

Seriously this topic has had lots of threads regarding it. I suggest you use the search option at the top of the page just type in coleman and you will get lots of info and opinions [8D]

I use the coleman with 32 to 1 blue marble oil and i love it. No noticeable power loss and it don't stink up the car when transporting it.
