how do i go about putting nitro quake wheels or savage wheels on my fg marder and does it handle any better or not.
have just bought a fg so am some what of a virgin to large scale. have seen a couple of pics on this site of a fg with quake wheels, looks like i need a special 6 sided adaptor.

any clues.

go for fg monsters if you want big wheels

Now bear in mind that he is talking about the stock plasic wheels. They are an issue on the nitro trucks weighing about 10 to 12 lbs. Imagine what 20 lbs of truck would do to them. But if you look into the alloy wheels for the Savage and others they are about 1/2 the price of alloy wheels for large scale. They might hold up better.

thanks, am on a tight budget at the moment.
what else would i need to turn my marder into a monster truck.

eg:shaocks,body shell etc etc.

i put wheels off a cen genius on mine about 6 weeks ago an have ran 5 tanks of fuel an they are fine i had to make adapters out of 3/4 hex stuck

glen, can you post pictures. I might want to do that one. My LHS has had genesis rims in stock for a year it seems. I'll have to low ball him..
