Default RE: hop-ups

1. 5: Steel Gear Conversion Kit
2. Not listed but: either a four fold diff or the visco diff
3. 7: Jetpro MT5 Race Pipe
4. 6: KPD Mark 3 Hydraulic Brakes with mounts
5. 1: FG Wheely Bar (Get the MI version built in diff guard BULLETPROOF)

As for the filtering product you have to anilyze you situation; if you drive in very dusty areas maybe that stuff should be first. If you drive on grass and pavement stick to my order.

Improve stop and go performance and then fix the parts that break.

The visco is the best money can buy. Here is a link: http://www.rc-car-online.de/htstarteng.htm

Go through fgperformance, I believe they have it in stock. I know Michael has sold the business and he will be greatly missed. I hope the new owners will take good care of us[]

Would go for a good dif in first place. Not visco when driving off-road, when on tarmac it is great and worth the money.
But it is personal and all depends what you think is important

1: Pipe
2: Wheelie bar
3: Brakes

None of the other stuff is really needed unless you break something. Wait until your gears break before buying the steel upgrade. Plenty of people have been running the stock plastic gears for a long time with no problems, but if you have any trouble, then get the steel. The gear cover is a waste of money also, especailly the plastic one, and the alloy one requires you to cut your chassis to make it fit, then you can't see the gears unless you take it off. Finally the stock filter looks to be better than most aftermarket ones, don't worry about a cover for it unless you're gonna be doing alot of wet driving.

From what has happened on my MT, and I would do it again I would get the Jetpro pipe first. It is loud, sounds awsome and power. Then you will wheely bar to keep it from flipping over. Then you will rip out the plastic gears with all of the power. The Jetpro pipe is awsome and will add tons of power. I ran the stock gears until I got the pipe and then burned out two stock sets. After the steel gears you may want to get a set of upper alloy arms to keep your tie rod from hitting the gears if you jump the truck.

DesertEagle That is where I got mine from. The are Elcon ($50) and I think they are better than the FG ones, think they look better also. If you are using them on the MT you will have to get a spacer or washer for them. I got a set for a Marder also but have not installed them yet so I don't know if they have the same problem.

just my 2 cents worth, but dont do what i did, and buy some FG and some Elcon parts, buy the same parts, they all fit together, but some
of the things needed slight machining for a good fit, all totally my doing buying some FG and some Elcon, but im now wiser for it, and so now you are too

At the front end of my FG Leopard Race I have parts from 4 different makers, and it fits perfectly.

FG:
- Uprights (older model, am going to replace with Elcon one day....)

The Racing Factory - http://www.the-racing-factory.de
- Upper front A-Arms (VERY solid, could easily be lighter, nice teflon bushings)
- won on eBay.de, no experience with their service.

Hötschick Tuning - http://www.fg-modellsport-vertrieb.de
- Lower front A-Arms (Decent parts, very attractive price, No bushings at all)
- Will not comment publicly on their service.

Elcon - http://www.elcon-models.com
- A and B Axle mounts
- Front Damper Mount (Marder, but fits with slight modification to reinforcement plate)
- Excellent service

I never had any problems getting the parts to fit together, but even if Elcon is the most expensive of the bunch, I think I am going to stick with their products for the foreseable future.
