Anyone know if the insert used in the ST is the same as the MT?

I am trying to order a set of ST wheels and tires to put on my sons Marder, but the only inserts I can find are for the MT.

Are those supposed to fit in the ST as well?? They seem like they would be pretty big for the ST tire.

I bought those foams for my ST tires, and they are huge. I think FG just marks the bags with different numbers, but uses the same foams for both the MT and ST tires. I still haven't got to put them on my Baja yet, maybe next week.

I contacted a friend who deals in FG parts, he stated exactly what you did USABaja5B, they are in fact the same size.

I used the panther monster truck foams. They are a little tight to get one but once they are on they are great for the stadium tires and rims. There is a little room inside the tire but there is not bounce to them. The fg st foams should be cut down a little before mounting them.

Those are the ones. We have them here too.

ST and MT foams are NOT the same size. Same inside and outside diameter but the width is less on the ST's by about an inch.
