*some* of us prefer the stick type handsets than the wheel/trigger combo ones such as the 3Pk has.
Ive been using this type for years, ive tried the wheel type ones but i cant get used to them
Please explain how the 3PK or M8 would have avoided this :-) ?....The crash wasnt down to the radio handset he was using lol... but seems more to the point of miss-judgement! & the car slid & hit the curb @ WOT as they say sh*t happens! :*(
Tell ya what though, ive not been able to use my MB Pro ALL SUMMER!!
...last time i went out with it the plastic spur carrier melted but im about to get a new alloy one, i just never got around to it until now! & im STILL in doubts weather to go back to nitro & get an LST2 as the price of large scale is alot more than i expected when it comes to hop-ups etc
Why dont FG (& other 3rd party manufacturers) open there eyes a bit, Large scale as we all know isnt as popular as 1/8 & 1/10 ...simply because of price, nothing else.
If prices were to drop on mainly on hop-ups etc im sure ALOT more people would take the plunge into large scale, & with prices being reasonable (compared to a rip off as what they are now) they would sell lots of hop-ups... instead of being greedy & trying to get that big sale, drop the prices a bit & sell quantity!

its not really the radio your running that counts, its signal/frequency you use thats important.

Stuff happens! You can cry and pout or suck it up. I think the 2 speed kicked in and the speed was just too much and too close to the curb before he could hit the brakes. Carl was runnig in a parking lot beside a section with dirt. The best thing to do is run them in an open area without concrete curbs or islands. I'm pretty sure he was using a Futaba with the spectrum module too. Having good equipment is not a problem with Carl.
But it's great for us who need/want parts!! I think the damage wasn't as bad. New chassis and bang out the side plates and you're good to go.

I know Buggzy and cyclops are enjoying their parts!!! Not much I could really use since I have Krikke stuff on my Leopard Race. Would have been nice to have the 2 speed and the stadium tires but he's keeping them for his other toys!

yup and the hinge pins arent even bent one bit .. i put them on the lathe and still are true ....
