RE: ELCON Cleon, a dutch design...
wonder if Elcon, harm, contrast and horman will ever make a 4x4, I reckon within a couple of years the main stream will be 4wd (imo it'll will mimic the rise and domination of 4wd in WRC as when the quattro arrived), . Only reason 2wd has been prevalent up til now is cos there was nothing else other than ridiculously expensive fault ridden early evo MCD's...now just about every manufacturer is building a 4wd (except HPI[sm=tired.gif]) so be interesting to see if the thoroughbred racing factories jump on board and what they come up with.

Hormann already has 4X4 and the cool about it is that it is hydraulic drive.
So there are turbine rotors in the front wheel hubs where the oil runs through.
It was on last years neurenberg toyfair I think.

Almost finished the car
Still waiting for the painter to finish the body.
I everything goes as planned then I will be testing it Saturday this week.
The new rearbrake looks VERY solid and good. Airbrakes will be mounted next week (still in the mail[:@])
All the changes to the car looks really good compared to the 2008 model

Finally got to really test the car.. unfortuantly this first chance was the first round in the Danish Championship, not the best time for trouble shooting [>:]
But the car is great, it feels a lot like the old model to drive. Just a "little" better

And a little video I got with my cell phone:

after 2 years elcon re-designed the cleon and bring now the cleon MMX.
You can even download a full 3D file of the model which you can rotate etc . [sm=tongue_smile.gif]
You need to download edrawings viewer from solid works to be able to open his file.
This free CAD tool you can find here:
The car to beat in competition for 2010?
Here some pics.
But the 3D file to watch that is way more interesting !
Then you can zoom, slice, turn the car etc etc etc.
