Nice !! Great work guys.

For onroad use suitableonly as far as i can guess , dirt will probablyjam the shafts/block that moves the gear.

Anyway it's a nice idea

Fshopups 1/4 scale conversion kit test 1

Hi all so as you all know there is the 4wd conversion kit for the first fs cars and with all the problems that we all have bean having with the old planetary gears diff system.Well we are glad to say that the new diff works 100% with no problems. At present we need to work out one small problem that we came across with the steering linkage but this will hopefully rectified with in the next week or two here's a quick vid for all to see

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY1RGqb97TE
after crashing in to that brick we realised that we destroyed the steering servo in the process lol

yes the engine needs a tune a bit boggy but not a fs racing and not a fs carb neither just didnt have time to tune it right

It´s a clone of MCD Proline from beginning 2006 ( MCD Rally ) Car.
Actually MCD´s are different and have much other parts.

HI Scott, Bobby here is North GA. With Streamline R/C
Thats a cool setup!

I was wondering about the body and wing on your conversion. Is that something you carry?

Actually we had 2 of those simulated carbon bodies show up from the factory on one of our orders I ordered 30 of the Red/WhiteBlack http://www.zerogravityrc.com/fsbody511356.aspx full buggy bodies and the factory send me 20 of the Red/White/Black ones and 2 of the carbon simulated bodies (I didn't even know they offered any lol) which out of all there screw ups that was the only one I actually didn't mind even considering they shorted me the additional 8 bodies [:@] just one of many reasons I am done working with them, so to answer your question yes we did but they are now all sold out and I wont be getting anymore, the wing was just the stock replacement wing for the 2 and 4wd buggy with all the stickers removed I like things plain without all kinds of stickers and what not lol I think simple can be just as complicated and busy haha, I wish I had more of those bodies because I have a little crack starting in mine from cart wheeling it wide open down a huge sand hill lol [:@].

Thank You,
Scott

Been reading through the thread and wanted to know if the FS 4WD on road touring is the closest match to the MCD Rally?

I recently brought a used fs racing monster truck, but the rear diff is gone. What would you suggest is a good replacement for it? I was thinking I should just but a new fs Monster Truck and just be done with it...(the other one was used) I'm new to this habit- I mean, hobby- so I really don't know much about what is what, etc. Plus my budget is kinda lean right now, and I'm not really mechanically inclined. So, any advice, info, input is much welcomed and very much appreciated!

Hi Csmillsny I also purchased a used FS Monster Truck and I love mine. Unless your truck is just wore out completely repairing it would probably be cheaper unless you find another cheep used one. The last time I spoke with Scott with www.zerogravityrc.com he still had FS parts available till he runs out of them. You could try him and see what he has. That rear diff in the truck is a pretty hard part to wear out what was shot in yours?

I have a problem i got a FS racing 1/5 scale 4wd 35cc truggie, i only had it 3 weeks and it keeps blowing steering servo's this is the 3rd. one its blown. Now i changed the on-off switch and i changed the rx and tx. The battery is the orignal one 6v hump 1200 mah and that battery is actually to small for it. But the battery is the only thing that i didn't change. Is anybody else having this or had problem any help will be helpful. THANK YOU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdrx45POtZo
