Dude, have you read any of the threads concerning the mix ratio (in fact, the manual)? I think 40:1 would be greasy... 25:1 is what I have used to break in my engine so far and all is good. [8D]

Hey all i'm on my second tank now and i am still running at a 32ish to 1. Lots of oil still. When can i go 40 to 1 and start tuning it for performance?
I have the KM 001 23cc.

I would say go for it, but at the same time I don't want your motor to fail..
It all depends on the oil you are using
I am going to at some time do some testing running my motor on 25:1, 32:1, 50:1, and 75:1 and make notes of all performance of the motor..
the oil I'm going to try this with has been tested to run at 200:1 with no failures!

Yes, 40:1 is a much more lube-lean condition. 25:1 has more lube parts per fuel parts and therefore would be more "greasy."
I have heard of guys going with lube contents as high as 12:1 ratios, but I personally thing that would be overkill unless they are needing such high lube count for one reason or another.

bro, 8:1 would be thick!
I know a boater who runs between 10:1 and 8:1 and swears by it

Just received my new km dom style rear pipe today from motorspeeder website just $49.99 with free shipping,
the fit and finish is excellent,
just got to run it for a short time today and im very impressed with the power the pipe creates
love the looks of it and its made from thicker metal than the hpi ss pipe also,
what pipe are you going with for your baja bbuzzard?

RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures
nice vid bbuzzard! I Just changed out my diff last night, it is the alloy diff that danlc4 sells on ebay. Works great now!! Didnt have to worry about the output shafts cuz they were the same. Also finally installed the 8000rpm clutch and 19/55 gears while it was all apart. All I can say is HOLY ****!!!! This thing has got to be going over 50mph easy! Or at least is just seems that way. Im going to see if my brother in law will let me use his gps to test it this weekend and hopefully get some video if it isnt to nasty out. I think all I really need now is a new radio, not too impressed by the stock. peace!

Thanks guys! I'm waiting on the same pipe from Motorspeeder. That's good news that yours arrived. I think we both ordered ours about the same time. Hopefully, it will be here soon. I have to swap out my differential also (I got the same one from danlc4) and I should be crankin'!!!

why isnt there a newbie section on the largescale forums to discuss stock plastic parts etc etc like people mostly discuss when they are new to the hobby.
not being smart just wondering...

I quess this in retaliation for the 1200 mile round trip you said you made from limerick to the giants causeway on the off topic section,
when i looked it up it was only 278 miles each way which i posted on that forum which don`t add up to 1200, no matter which route you took!!![sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif]

why do you react so badly to forum users?
that is a perfect innocent comment just to ask a question here
and about what ever your talking about obviously you didnt read my reply that i took the coast line route
is there any need for this hostility and arrogance always here?

Never seen anyone react to the other the forum users in the often hostile and arrogant way you do.
sure pretend to youself this comment wasn`t a reaction toward me questioning your imaginary 1200 mile trip

just because others have reached a level of modification and a level of standard with there r/c there is no need for you to be bitter about it with your stock baja...
i always avoid you on these forums yet you still always leave smart remarks.....funny how your still at it....
