I'm a real HPI BAJA 5B owner in China.
I've heard Kingmotor(we call it KM for short) and KMBAJA(the cloned baja). As the China's KMBAJA owner says, KMbaja's plastic part are not good as HPI's, the engine seems not very bad, but KM keep secret about where the engine were made. I can affirm the engine is neither ZENOAH nor CY, a clone engine also.
A new tune pipe of KM is in testing, I saw some pics days ago. But not get any test result yet.

that pipe would be very good if it didnt have the two piece section near the motor head , and that ridiculouse pipe shoved in the rear end like some sort of exhaust deflector LOL

Thats the one I was bidding on, it went too high for me. I only wanted to spend 400 on the car because shipping would make it 540. Didnt you get yours shipped for 550?

OK,OK,

replace KMBAJA plastic parts with HPI BAJA plastic parts, you can get about 90% of the HPI BAJA 5B's performance.

such as Front/Rear Suspension Arm, Front Bulkhead Set, etc.

Hot news:KMBAJA 23cc gasoline engine is made by a China manufacturer, which made OEM engine for zenoah before.

hot topic... Im impressed Other forums ban the competition[sm=thumbs_down.gif]......

$300-400 buys alot of Hpi upgrades or any of the other hpi aftermarket manufacturer's products

As with any product with a patent (if it even had 1) it expires and then its a free for all.....HPI will still make money and so will the aftermarket part suppliers.......things always break

If you guys want to be taken care of email this person:

[email protected]

Best way to contact her is on MSN. She ussually gets on after 10 EST.

I paid 535 shipped. Got here in about a week. Paid 145 for shipping. So if you go regualr shipping and pay 20 for shipping it will be 10x cheaper. Like 410 dollars. It will take a month to receive it though.

There ya go......good deal man it will take about 7-10 days to get through EMS even the US post office now uses EMS....The longer ya wait the more the price will drop.

Now spend the money you saved on the hopups you need...I'm sure any of the guys that sell the aftermarket Baja excessories will be happy to help

Get a hump pack... good air filter...... dont forget the filter oil

Im gona wait a little for the hop ups. I need to find a job first before I spend more money on it. I'll probably get a spektrum dx 3.0. Doesnt it come with a failsafe. Then a good steering servo and battery pack. Next will be a exhaust pipe. Any sugestions? I want to get a rear pipe, I dont like the side ones[:'(]
