What hex sizes does the Baja 5b use?
I'm about to order a set of hex tools for my 1/8 which uses 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3mm hex wrenches. Soon I'll be ordering a hpi Baja 5b and I want to make sure that what ever hex kit I get works for it as well. Do you recomend I get the hex tools with ball end?

3 and 4 are the most common, and I think there are a few 2.5s and 1.5s as well. I absolutely recommend ball ended hex wrenches for this car, it is a REAL nightmare to get to some of the screws, you will really thank yourself for asking this, good thinking.

Yeah, definitely get a ball ended set, otherwise you'll have to remove way too many things on a regular basis just to be able to get to slightly awkward parts.

I went to an Autoparts store, and got a really nice set of wrenches for about 10.00 and there is a lifetime G'ntee. Sofar, they have not stripped or rounded off at all.
