i was wondering the redcat buggy and truck share the same chassie are the differences just body and wheels. i was also wondering do they come with clear bodies or just painted

RE: Redcat Rampage MT5
thanks for the quick reply i just love the wheels on the buggy. i think it would look good with the truck body, instead of those monster truck wheels more of a stadium truck look. Something i was considering unless the body cost $150 like the other 1/5 scale bodys.

Looks great Wicked. I'll be putting AT's all around mine and lowering the truck body.

Well I am only comparing the pipe to the stock muffler and from that's its a MEGA improvement, actually a whole different truck. I am though in the next day or so going to order the DOM. I have one on my baja and love it so I assume its going to be a improvement over the Redcat pipe.
Yeah Iwant to lower my body to but the redcat pipe won't let me lower it anymore.

out the box the trucks have a few teething problems that are easily fixed mostly for no cost, i can testify that they are extremely tough after a few mods...i beat on mine mercilessly and have few issues now apart from driver error. Check out the redcatrampage forum if you're thinking of buying one. Well worth the money in my opinion

RE: Redcat Rampage MT5
here is my latest "widowmaker" project. started with a rampage mt. i think it came out perfect for me. was looking for something i could run in the parking lot on sunday nights before i go back to work on mondays. i wanted something that i wouldnt be tempted to lounch of cliffs and something i could shelf at the end of the day with out having a panic attach becouse its muddy or dirty. also something that was pretty eye catching. i think i did it with the pink. it looks completly diffrent next to my other 2 ramps wich are set-up for off roading abuse..
the hole project with everything only cost me $1200, including radio gear and a "sick" o'neills mill. fell free to ask any questions

I concur, I beat on my truck without mercy and to be honest i haven't spent a great deal of cash and it's tough as old boots, bang for the buck you can't beat the rampage
