Default Firehammer?

I keep having my pinion gear slipping off the shaft any ideas on how to keep it from slipping off.
I tighten the 3 screws as tight as I can get them it will still come off any ideas?

Try using only 2 screws on the flats of the shaft and make sure to use red threadlocker on them. I also use the E-clip that held the original plastic gear on. Good luck.

If you use red loctite you'll need a friggen blowtorch to get those things back out. Clean up the gear and use blue loctite.

I've never had one come loose.

Ok..If you take the set screws and grind them flat ..they will hold on too the lay shaft better..,,Cuz the set screws have a taper on them..
then lock tite the set screws and tighten down tight..let cure 24 hours..you will be good....You may want to read my thread ,,new to 1/5 scale RC World
lots of info there and mods, plus up grades that will help ya out.....AKA Slawhammer
