Help! Can't remember where I saw these cars
The other night I was looking at some pics/videos of some giant scale RC cars, and now I can't for the life of me find them.
Forgot to bookmark them.
The first one is a huge monster truck creation.
It had golf buggy wheels and a jeep body.
The other one was a Baja Ford Capri (?)
It was blue.
The guy made the body himself from scratch using insulation sheets and bondo.
It was late one night when I was looking at them and can't remember if they were videos on youtube or on some message board or what.
Been googling all different combinations of words but nothing.
Does anyone know the cars I'm talking about?

Bondo is typically used for auto body repair. It's a paste that has a catalyst added to it so that it hardens quickly.

nope just normal bog
nope just normal bog
For clarification as to the stuff used to make the car body, Bondo is a brand of products and the one used to make the body was probably a paste, as opposed to liquid resin. You could use the resin and fiberglass material but it's trickier to shape than using the paste and molding it to what you want it to look like. Hope that was more clear...

Just curious, but what is bog?
Kinda like putty I suppose but 2 component.
A big tub of paste and a little tube of (usually red) hardener, which you mix together on a piece of board or tin.
I think the word Bog is mainly used by british/australians/NZ'ers
I'm originally from Sweden but have spent many years in both the UK and Australia so my english is very much a mix between the two.
I find it interesting how different english speaking cultures have their own words for a lot of things.

Right........
So "Bondo" is a brand name not a product.
And it is .......bog.[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
Glad we got that straightened out.[sm=wink_smile.gif]
