well i got my delevery from nutech yesterday another brake set and a new stainless pipe for another project i am doing, there prices are excellent and shipping from china just took an astonishing 5 days.

well i put this machine up on the bench and made adjustments to everything, camber, toe in etc etc its set up lovely now,the ride height can be lowered and risen significantly, l have this now droped low and the handling is GREAT.

CANT WAIT to get out with it again.

maybe i will get out later who knows.
she is sitting here now with pmt eclipses ready to go ....

well i feel i have so much to say on this car that i could write a book on it lol

had this car out this evening and had mad fun with it.it is going very well i didnt get a video but i will the next time im out...

i must say the alloy is so impressive on this car that every time i have it out im in awe....

i dont know weather i mentioned the design already of the front lower independant cnc a-arms which are balljoint less.....its a very nice cool design which i have not seen in many rc machines....balljoints have to be watched even alloy cause they can develop play and cause bad handling.....well its one less area to worry about on this GT5-R anyhow.
i just took a few pics to show what i mean here...

my pmt eclipses are worn down to the canvas after its last few outings lol

pics-
lower front a-arms without balljoints
pmt cronos down to canvas.

FIRST ACURATE RACING VIDS...

GT5-R VS FG COMPITITION
now these are the first proper good quality videos with cars set up great.

this is an acurate race between these two gas compitition cars, both have stock 23cc engines, the nutech a cy23cc &fg having a zenoah with f1 filter.
both cars are set up perfect with new GRP ELLIGI STICKY RUBBER.both machines run a total of 6laps timed acurately with a digital timer on my own private track.
results are quite intresting...{dc2 man} )

RESULTS:
GT=2:15:01
FG=2:11:38
total of 6laps.

FG RUN:

GT5-R RUN:

comments:
this was awesome fun the GT5-R has me shocked with great performance competing against a competition expensive fg model with zenoah.

it wouldnt be the same in 4x4 guise.....too much fun 2wd.

nutech have a 4x4 rally car available but by no means an onroad racer like this machine

funny as you say that cause i wanted to drive a car like this in 4x4 guise.

but in all honesty i can only say that when you run the GT5-R in 2wd form with good tyres you feel its qualitys and wont change for the world, the handling is amazing from nutechs drivetrain and diff......its a great platform for handling.....

i would like to see nutech building a 4x4 onroad but not GT5-R as its on its own league.....

you know what i mean, its a 2wd thing, some people much prefer 2wd to 4x4..............nothing to beat the ass out action of 2wd........

i had too much fun with this thing last summer

I know this is a long shot, but just checking to see if dc2 man is still around and if he still has his Nutech GT5-R. I'm looking for a on-road 1/5th scale, and even after 9 years, there are very few that look as good as this one.

I plan to find a used one and pull the engine and install a jet turbine

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement Mustang body for the gt 5 r? Also, are there any other bodies that fit this car available?

I found a used Nutec gt 5 r Mustang, but it is missing the manual. Any chance anyone has a copy?

I also need a new set of shocks, do they still sell the FG shocks mentioned here?

Inside the receiver box I found a small receiver but no battery. Another reason I could use the manual.

Thanks!
