I know this forum reaches far & wide, so I thought I would add this thread & see what kind of interest there is in the Universe.
These guys are called the WWPA " Weed Wacker Pullers Association ". All of these vehicles are custom fabricated & powered by chain saw engines. There are 3 classes that pull. With two of them being competition classes & one as an exibition. I got a chance thanks to Jim from Nsayn Racing to drive his truck for this event. I never expected to do as well as I did, it definitely turned out well. Feel free to comment & let me know if this is something that happens in your area. I have met many people throughout the U.S. that are interested. If I can help hook people up & make this small side of R/C grow. I will gladly help out.
Let the comments flow !

Around here there are classes from 10th scale up to these Monsters. The Truck class has an engine size limit 33 cc & length & weight limits. Same for Gas Tractor class too. I forgot in the original post about the Killer Modifieds. These are Crazy !!! With a weight limit & length, You can power as much as possible. These guys are running up to (4) 30+cc engines on some & they are Wicked. This too is a competition class. The exibition tractors, Mainly only 2 of them, get some show time, because there is not enough around to compete. Weighing 60 lbs. The one here at the show, a JD6030 was pulling 400 lbs at one point. It was everything they had weight wise plus a car battery, I think I have that part in video too. Here is some more cool pics. & coverage:

Nice find on the official website, Killer!
Oh, and looker, I am totally digging the multi-engine rigs. When I saw multi-engine rigs for nitro engine pullers, I so wanted to make one. But seeing the gassers in such a configuration, but sclaed up, I'm totally inspired.
Damn, I wish I had a CAD-CAM.

Those are some sick machines!!! Here is my setup. The sled is over 6ft long just by itself. The truck is 4WD. This setup was said to pull over 500 pounds.

I normally would not post a link, but this Pulling area of R/C is small & could use support. This site has lots of pulling news.

While I appreciate all the work that goes in to building these pulling machines, both RC and full scale ones, and love watching them, I've always thought it's crazy to send all that power straight in to the ground like that. [&:]
Just imagine how FAST they could go with different gearing.
Awesome videos though, and it never ceases to amaze me how huge the RC hobby is worldwide and how many different "genres" there are.
Dragracing, drifting, rock crawling, monstertruck tug of war, pulling etc.

Thanks for all the great comments !!
dc2 man : Neat set-up with the trailer. I can see where the tires on the trailer were flat & causing lots of drag.
