MCD Baja 1000 engine bogging.

Default MCD Baja 1000 engine bogging.

Hi guys i have noticed when it reaches about 1/4 tank the engine boggs then will run good for a little
and boggs again.....what is the cause of this ??

Have you vented the gas tank? This sounds like the symptoms of an unvented tank

I had this for awhile myself. My fuel clunk was pushed at the front of the tank. The fuel was pushed to the back of the tank under acceleration and no fuel got in the line for a moment. Once I have the clunk flat and to the back of the tank now and the problem has gone (until about an 1/8th of a tank).

Yes the tank is vented but i will check the fuel clunk.

I would have sworn this is the classic MCD tank vent issue. Are you sure your vent is clear?
