Default Redcat Himoto Rampage Onroad rally

Decided to edit and update youtube w/ the new mods that I have on the car.
A K&N filter, Zeonoah g270 w/ 813 carb, MCD Samba pipe, 8000 clutch spring and 35t, 25t, 25t &25t gearing.
I was also running on stock bald tires, so a lot of spin outs. I'll be running grp tires next. I also had problems with the front disc brakes catching and the 813 carb power band sucks.
I'll fix the problem and have more videos before I get the higher gearing.

I've been bitten by the on-road bug lately too. I need new tires for my 1/5 scale one though. I recently got a 1/10 HPI Sprint 2 Flux as well which is great but obviously no match for gas

With it coming out of China, I'm sure they are no way near as good as alloy product in Germany or Japan. It's heavy compare to the ones on a FG evo comp.

I'm not much of a off roader, but if I plan to sell in the future, I'm sure I'll trade with you since the HPI 5b has a better resale value. Thanks

Thanks, I'm not sure what they are, but I got it off fleabay and they suck azz more than the stock tires. Big time oversteer and fishtail for a AWD. Lesson learn, from now on I will only GRP or PMT tires.

The pictures are stunnging. I have been wanting a 1/5th scale rally car for a while but the lack of funds keep me from getting one.
I really like the disk breaks.

You might be surprised what comes out of China this day and age. At least some of it.

+1 to that..i'm old enough to remember the saying...jap crap when their first cars and electronics first hit the market...that has sure caused a few red faces considering how they have destroyed many domestic manufacturers with quality and price consumerables across the market, then it was hong kong, taiwan, then south korea, now china and next india...don't be fooled folks these countries are not to be taken lightly and are more than capable of being industry leaders and innovators and with their cheaper labour costs it makes the products that we all desire more and more affordable, bottom line dollar figures are king and it takes but a blink of an eye for manufacturers in these countries to start producing quality items. they start with cloning and reverse engineering and then blammo the y start with their own concepts, ideas and designs...it moves from one country to the next...as these countries become richer their workforce demands higher wages to afford what they are making; so as with japan, wages increase and their products become more expensive so to keep everything affordable for the consumer (workers) it moves onto the next cheap cost country and so on...anyone who believes china can't produce high quality items at an affordable price needs to research the battery for electric cars market...china leads the world in technology and cost...ignore them and india and the likes at your peril like many large western manufacturers did with previous south east asian countries and now look at them...huge debts and looking for bailouts from their governments

Nice looking rig,sweet paintwork[8D]
The 60-70% of world's industry, whether is genuine or knockoffs, comes out of China. With a population of about 1.4 billion souls the Chinese nation is capable of reaching even 90% of the world's production.
I won't be surprised if every single product in the near future is gonna be labeled as "Made in China (PRC)"
