Default i cant decide!!!!

right now i have 5t,5b and a rampage...but since my buddies got new rigs last week i want one too..this time it will be for drag racing,im not a serious racer .im one of those guys who dont care if i did good or not..as long as my cars are running im good.
now heres my dilemna ..
im lookin at the other brands 5th scales and now theres a lot to choose from.to narrow it down i set a budget of $800-1000 new or used .. choices are the fg baja, mcd baja, redcat dunerunner,5b ss,cen matrix5 or nutech buggy..if you were me,would u buy another one and set it up for drag racing only or use the money to set up either of the 3 buggies i have right now?i plan to go drag racing prolly 2x a month the most.give me ideas so i can sleep hehehe..ive been lookin for good deals and still havin 2nd thoughts of getting another one..the bajas are just waiting for the 2 speed to come out..hopefully by 12\21\2012 lol

if u opt to buy any of the mentioned brands can u pls lmk if its good for drag racing.

spend your money upgrading one of the, the ones you allready have! If it were me I would spend what I was going to spend on a new one and get a fast motor

Are you going to be drag racing on dirt or pavement?

I'd have to say FGbaja from my experience, very light and with a 2 speed lightning fast, add soft warmed up FG truck slicks and it'll hook up real good, I had one with a 2 speed and set of the truck slicks for road use with obr 28.5 reed ported motor and jetpro and it really flew...a lot of the speed boys and drag racers use them..the platform and layout seems to work really well in this application, 4wd will hook up but the extra weight and drivetrain drag will hurt you down the strip

moo youre right! most of the guys that runs there have fg baja ..do u think a fg with 4wd and 2 speed will be good ?or 2 speed and 2wd is better?if 2wd is good with 2speed ,should i just wait for the BSW 2speed for my 5b or 5t?
what about a fg stadium?will the 2 speed fit on that too?

2 speed will fit the stadium but it's heavier as it uses the pro chassis, double shocks, side braces etc...again with the 4wd drivetrain drag will be your biggest drawback if you're racing against a 2wd with same set up...you could try the 2wd and if you wanted 4wd afterwards you could buy the kit and have the best of both worlds...also before dropping a bunch on a new car you could wait for the 5b 2speed and see how it performs , then at least if it's not keeping up you'll be at no loss cos you'll still be able to use it off road and then get the fg
