I got banned from HBF, LSF and RRF all in one week
I like that the character that owns those other forums has nothing to do with this one. I am embarrased I associated myself with such a joker.

yep me too...apparently I was too negative about the rampage , but i believe it's because I own a nutech and have stated the nutech mt is much better than the rampage..i own both and was only telling the truth...truth hurts i guess...
I know of at least 2 other canucks who are banned from Mr ram tech's sites...Mradlin and Clayton from VP

Before this thread gets locked, all I want to say is I am very surprised that Rob would allow such a thing; he has in the past from, what I have seen, been reasonable. Yes, he wields a heavy hammer and he does come down hard with it, but from what I know, he has been fair and even given back people their memberships back.
Also, I thought that Rob was going to become a Nutech distributor and seller himself; I find it hard to believe that he would ban anyone for saying one of his products is better than another one he sells.
All I am saying is there seems to be more to the story here.

You don't have much of choice when it comes to HBF. If it isn't HPI related, the owner doesn't want you there, simple as that. He banned dozens of peeps that kept talking about chinese baja clones.

lol funny, I got banned for posting a picture of a new product that was coming out.
I got emailed directly stating I'm banned for life for putting up a picture without asking him first???
To my understanding, I think it was more about him making a few bucks, or it could be, he's brices buddy and he feels threatened about BS 2 speed sales will diminish with another 2 speed on the market.
I got threatening emails which I have saved, which I will not post up due to what was said, but what I will do is print them out, show up to the next Baja event and shove them papers down his throat..
Just my 2 cents guys!

least thats what the public saw,the real reason i got banned was for promoting carson modelsport too much as they werent a paying advertiser,& at the time i started a lot of heavy threads about my carson c5 model.
i suppose again not great for the rampage onroads! least thats the only valid reason i could see.
i think rcu is nice,the moderators are very nice here,i got in to crap here now and then and the owners & mods were nice about it.
but that doesnt mean you wouldnt be banned for something against the rules in a flash,as any forum mods are intitled to do.

it is there and very clear before you sign up, read the rules. If you don't like the rules... it is simple, don't sign up.
IMO, it is the best way to avoid all the BS you see on other forums everytime they start a clone thread.

So i tell it how it is, not opinions but fact..after having my ramp for 15mths (had 2 but 2 was too many to keep fixing) I feel qualified to comment on any problems they may have and also how to cure those problems, and get the boot for telling the truth...hmmmm that's called censorship in my part of the world...nothing more to it than that

i have never had a problem over at robs sites. I have met him personally at my home and he is a stand up guy. He likes to keep a clean forum and keep it on topic. Its called the HPI forum, not large scale forum...

I don't see what some of the others complain about (durability). My rampage TT holds up fine, although I've only got a 27cc engine whereas others have bigger. There are, however 2 things I don't like about it, the dogbones and the drive cups. Other than that, it has been pretty stout. I don't see this thread lasting too long, just throwing in my 2 cents.
Oh and one last thing... I'm running the "V1".
