first i must say... WOW the quality of these cars is amazing! it is worth every single penny!
it took around 10hours including all the mods i did. i put the stainless exhaust on and good lord is it loud! you can tell a difference but my neighbors probably wanted to kill me haha!
i added
killer rc limiting cables orange
killer rc kill switch
tgn billet pull start handle orange
ddm motors billet gas cap orange
shock covers charcoal
full force rc winows
hpi tarmac busters
ddm outerware pull start cover
futaba 3pmx which is excellent!
ddm 5000mah batter pack
i think thats all
the thing is a blast i just wish it would stop raining so i can get traction a little!
anyways here are the pics!
i went with super lube for the trans and sealed it up for now
the girlfriend took a pic of me working on it
and here is her working on it a bit... she loves my hobbies
now time to bash and crash

mine were 15 but yes! they keep the shock from bottoming out when fully exteneded. no real performance gain but the keep you from blowing out seals in your shocks. and i hate building shocks!! lol

Nice build! Sealing the trans in not nescessary, just grease up the gears with HPI HD grease. Just a light coating is all that is required. Too much it causes rolling resistance, and the excess will just get flung off anyway.
