My out-of-tuned GP290...

was still a beast...it tore up some HPI HD dogbones in 8 tanks (figure what's missing in the pics below):

BTW, I upgraded the motor with a ported head and it is crazy!! I will be getting drive cups real soon to be ready for the inevitable...any ideas which set I should be getting??

It was a the stock headkit for the 40mm boss version of the GP290. DDM did a port job for me special. Just contact them cause I'm not sure it is listed on their site.
