They are willing to order idems that are out of stock usually takes 2 weeks. I would call them just to check the measurements of the body to make sure it is wide enought in the rear.

Many thanks if it the right size that what we are looking for

peterel 11-23-2014 12:41 PM

Nope body is for 535mm wheel base HPI-Rovon-Great motors are all 570mm wheel base

twissted 11-23-2014 09:16 PM

............Sorry it is not wide enough. Since your son likes Nascar maybe you can find a 1/4 scale WCM on E-Bay for a reasonable price.

peterel 11-24-2014 05:44 PM

Nope those bodys are too long. Looks like are only hope is to find some one with one of those old bodys they are willing to part with.

nitrohead5300 11-24-2014 09:18 PM

Good Luck!! I hope you get one that is not full of air bubbles.

peterel 12-06-2014 12:48 PM

At this point we would take one even if it has air bubbies

Looks great, but wheel base is only 20 inches. HPI- Rovan - Great motors are 22 1/2 inch wheel base. Won't fit. Darn . I guess if I can't find a body it may come down to moulding my own. Or finding a body thats not that great of shape and using that to make my own mould.

mradlin 12-13-2014 08:10 AM

You could get it closer by using a shorty chassis from Scorpion. http://www.davesmotors.com/scorpion-...aja-5b-5t.html
It shortens the wheelbase by 1.75 inches.

I'm in Ontario, Canada and i'm also on the hunt for a nascar body to fit a baja 5b chassis if you find a body that will work please let me know and i will do the same. Brian
