Firehammer Air Filter - Tower out - where else?
 

Tower is out of the Firehammer's air filter kit - anyone else know where to get these?

Is it that much different from FG or KN?

Its a dual filter and its is cheaper than the FG model and comes with a (waterproof?) cover whereas it is optional for the FG.

Not only that, all the FG dealers over here in Oz has run out and I only managed to score 1 airfilter unit! Just wanted to compare the difference between the two and having two filters handy is easier for changeovers so no need to wait for one to dry before use :)

i heard from a buddy of mine that he just went with a K&N air filter, you can get them from your local car parts store

People that play in the dirt alot have already stated that the K&N filter for the 1/5 scale vehicles lets to many fine particles pass through the filter into your engine

I take it since there are no replies this long - when Tower is out of the Firehammer air filter, there is no place else to purchase these from?

not sure where else sells them online, but if you only need the foam then tower has them in stock

i have seen pictures of other types of filters on the firehammer, but i have no clue where they come from.

Unfortunately I need the complete assembly. The stock FG Sportsline 2004 style is completely useless for anything other than onroad use.
