Servo ?

Why would my HS-645MG Hitec servo stay pulled back. It is staying wide open when the FG Monster Beetle is running. I cant get it to not be at full throttle? Any help would be great.

A fried receiver or the servo is fried........ more than likely its the reciever

Suggestion.....Add a strong return spring to your carb this will also help prevent full speed run aways if the failsafe fails

I changed the servo and it still does it, so does that mean it the reciever box?

Yes...take it to your LHS and have him swap out the recievers to test the reciever but I bet thats it

Hey Hellya - would the steering still work fine with the receiver bad. The steering works fine. But when i give it gas it - will not go or if it does it goes wide open.

RE: Servo ?

Yes, I had a rcboat I sunk water got in the radio box, the servos and reciever got wet. I opened up everything and dried it out.

I had the same kind of problem after that, my throttle worked great but my rudder would stay cocked to the right. The servo was ok the reciever was the problem

If you have already changed the servo and still have the same problem with the new servo, take your reciever down to a hobby store

I'm sure they will help you test it.... then try to sell you a new 1:D

No good stores here. I just ordered a new receiver, just like the one that was in there. It will be here on Monday. Thanks for your help. I will let you know how it turns out.

RE: Servo ?

Switch your steering and throttle servos at the receiver and see if the same thing happens to the steering and if the problem with the throttle stops.
If so, then its the servo. if the steering servo does it as well in this position then its the receiver.
Also, what is the charge on your battery? is it almost dead? or charged?
