Leopard Race vs Leopard Beetle
I'm a bit confused. I have a Leopard Race but it's a few years old. When I printed out the parts layout they have a few numbers that have 2 choices. Mine has the G230RC1 and is has dogbones on it. The rest looks pretty standard. The only thing I can think of is that one of them has a kick-up in the front, but which one? My Chassis is flat and the bulkheads change the camber. If I were to get Elcon bulkheads which one would I need??
Here they are: 6255 bulkheads A & B Leop.New Beetle 6259 bulk head B Leopard Race 6258 bulkhead A Leopard Race 6261 front aluminum plate Leop.New Beetle 6261/1 front aluminum plate Leopard Race 6270 Alloy Chassis Leop.New Beetle 6271 Alloy Chassis Leopard Race |

the chassis are different length, some minor bulkhead and side plate changes, original beetles had high mounted exaust( the later version before dicontinued had lower mount)

Are the chassis both flat then? I'm thinking about some Elcom parts for it and want to make sure they will work.

Joe,
Both chassis are flat, it is the length that changes. The parts you are looking at should not be an issue with your version. |

Thanks Mike and Andrew!
Glad to hear it's not the kick up them, makes it much easier! |
