Diff riser diamention ?

What is the thickness of you're diff riser home made or store bought ? i have some 6061 3/4 x 5/8 alloy @ work and should i leave it @ 5/8 thick or should i mill it done ?

I believe the diff riser is between 8 and 10 mm thick.
