Steering confusion
 

So I just got my Alloy steering uprights. First off they have more mounting holes then I can shake a stick at..lol.
I wish I had pics, but I mounted them on the inside holes to give me a MM of wider stance..lol But my question now is, when I trun the wheels either way, they hit the Arms, both sides...WAY before the steering stop on the other tire hits. I have my Steering on my Spektrum radio set to like 30% or so both ways to avoid the tire hitting. If both tires WERE hitting, and now arent, I shouldnt have lost any turning ablity right? I mean they only turned so far no matter what, then they will hit the A-arms correct? Or do I have these things installed all back*****wards?
