fg-hopups.com anyone have problems with these guys?
 

I bought a steel pinion for my firehammer from them on January 13th. Ive emailed them 4 times and still havent gotten a response wether it has shipped or not. I am going to contact paypal but want to know if anyone else has had any problems with getting stuff from these guys. They dont even answer emails. I have had zero contact with them since i bought the pinion. I want to order the motor mounts too but am afraid now. Does anyone else have the motor mounts? Thanks!

mark is probably not around, i was going to order some parts from him in the beginning of jan, but if you check his last reply on this forum, he hasnt been up here for a while, probably went somewhere. if you can wait, wait until the 30 days under paypal rule, otherwise, just contact paypal.

I figured everything is cool with him because i've read many times about people ordering from them. I am just a little nervous when i hadn't heard from him in almost 2 weeks.....

No excuse that hes on holiday, state on your website if your away, very badly run buisness if he is and hasn`t stated that he`s away.

I have orderd many parts form Mark and have no problems at all.
There were a few that are banned from RCU useage from the "flame wars" about FG VS Baja he may have been a victim.
As for bussiness, give it time he may have a emergency or something.

Ive bought several times from Mark and never had problems with him.
hes great bussiness if you ask me.
I would wait and see if I where you, might just be gone on vacation or maybe something happened.

Yeah i agree Mark seems to be a good guy because i have ordered twice form him
and the only thing i was not happy about is the slow shipping.
If he is away or something he should let his customers know. A simple e-mail
can soothe one's anticipation or discontent. [8D]

Mark's pretty good to deal with. He kept me in constant contact when a part was lost when being shipped to him. I'd say he's on vacation or something else happend. Maybe just give him a phone call and see whats up.

I have ordered from Mark before, shipping is pretty slow cause I dont think he keeps anything in stock, I beleive he orders from Germany as orders come in. He did answer several emails I sent him in timely maner, withing a day or so. So if he hasnt answered 4 emails in 2 weeks time, something is wrong. Just give it another week and see what happens.

I have BOUGHT many things from MARK, and he is a great person.Either he is on Vacation or like everyone else said something is wrong??? I never had any problems with him, he was "HONEST" and "UPFRONT" with everything I bought from him....[sm=wink_smile.gif] He even gave me his Ph# if I ever needed any help with anything......... he is a stand up guy in my book...

well each time i have ordered from him its always fast shipping, within a week or 10 days at the most, im in canada and it can be very long sometimes toget parts from the usa, but with marc its always quick.

Time to file a PayPal claim.

I'm sure he'll come thru, but this is the real world and you need to protect yourself. File the claim, he'll get the notice and either ship the parts or refund your money.

Wait too long and you lose the right to file a claim. PayPal allows claims after two weeks of non receipt of product.

A claim won't hurt him, it will just make him send your stuff or at least contact you. If he gets mad, so what. You've been patient, you've been nice, he's blown you off.

Even if a relative died you'll check your email in two weeks. Not answering emails or going on vacation is NO excuse. You have a business, either run it right or let people you'll be gone and not shipping things.

FILE THE CLAIM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

So did you ignore his emails? Couldn't you have just given him an answer right away and be done with it?

BTW it's the 30th, so if you shipped on the 20th he'd have it already.

I paid by echeck by accident (my fault) it cleared however on the 18th according to my paypal info. I want to order the motor mounts from you too. I just was wondering what was going on cause i hadnt gotten any responses from you at all. If you had responded to any of my emails i would have known what was going on. Do you have the motor mounts in stock? Let me know with a pm. Thanks!
