The mercedes is made by smarttech, the ford gt by hobbypro. I have the ford and someone at the track I run at has the mercedes. They are identical. Both are cheap and all FG parts fit them.

Hobbypro was started by the former sales manager of Smartech the factory is about an hour aprat from each other. They share the same US importer James Hann at JHC-888.com

They can deliver with any motor the importer wants.

Yeah, but if I were an importer I wouldnt take a zenoah engine and tell customers its a smartech, thats all.

lol, the funny part is that they have a good engine in it, and then advertise a worse engine.
