RE: 86 inch dragster

mudgy when you measure a dragster i guess you measure it from the front of the body to the back of the wing ? so it sould be 91 inche s ill have to change the topic signs to 91 inch ? small mistake lol

Mudgy 02-06-2009 03:51 PM

RE: 86 inch dragster

No, I measured from the end of the nose back to the wheelie bars...the wing is just a bit forward of the wheelie bars.

what do you plan to power it with? i would look at a nice 440 bombadier motor. or maybe a 250 dirtbike motor.

I think you should for sure run a wet system NOS set up in this, the turbine is real nice, but seems to get no use, I think with a mild worked motor and similar NOS system it will run extremely well and you will actually have more fun with it.

Great looking project, keep up the good work!
Pete

RE: 91 inch dragster

Yes the motor is mine, I have mounted it on the FG evo 04 you see pictured, but to tell you the truth, it would for sure run alot better in something like your project, my car is a bit too light for this kid of power.
I do not think you will find the same motor by the maker, as he only made 2 of these, but you never know, you can contact him and see if he will make you one.

www.oddified.com on the site you will find there contact email and ask, it sure wont hurt!

Good luck with your car!
Pete
