FTX = Nutech?
Is the FTX Punisher just a rebranded Nutech TB2 or a clone?
Heres the link if you haven't heard of it before: [link=http://modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=34677]Link[/link] |
RE: FTX = Nutech?
Definitely looks like it to me.

RE: FTX = Nutech?
it's a tb2 nutech, currently there is no UK distributer for nutech so someone else picked it up and renamed it FTX...I know nutech will be selling under their name once a dist is found in the UK

RE: FTX = Nutech?
Okay in that case I may consider getting one once they get their own distributor. I just don't like buying renamed products ...No brand loyalty [:-]

RE: FTX = Nutech?
TB2 comes with a 26cc (CY) engine [8D]
The Punisher comes with a 23cc (???) engine  |
RE: FTX = Nutech?
yep, why FTX went with the 23 is beyond me, nutech offer 23-29cc option and it rips with a 26

RE: FTX = Nutech?
Hello to everybody..I am from Greece.
I just purchased a FTX-PUNISHER with the 23cc CY motor and made some modifications to run better. With the factory exhaust the car was very slow,so i installed a DOMINATOR aftermarket exhaust ,and changed the needles inside the standard carburator with new ones from zenoah 26 carb. The result was fantastic... High torque at all rpm very good speed and excelent track control... Its far the best petrol 1/5 scale model i ever had... Next step is changing all the plastc parts with metal, like upper arms, servo mounts, engine mounts and hub holders, front and rear.. Also i found at DDM a cylinder with piston 26cc to change the stock 23cc. Maik |

Congrats on the Model Maik.

RE: FTX = Nutech?
Isn't a Smartech the same thing also?
|
RE: FTX = Nutech?
nope, nutech took the tb1 and totally reworked it, layout is the same but many parts have been redesigned and improved upon and don't interchange...the TB1 is definitely not the same as a FTX/nutech

RE: FTX = Nutech?
how many entered this race? 1st had 51 laps... 2nd had 35 laps... 10th had 3 laps
|
RE: FTX = Nutech?
if only 10 were racing then there were still 3 nutech/punishers in the top 5....
what's your point? |
RE: FTX = Nutech?
no point just a question.
