Default kits

I have gathered, over the years, several old kits (they were new way back in the day) that I am going to list for sale in the right forum. You may want to go to the stuff for sale and check them out. I flew in the SC squared contests (Southern California Soaring Clubs) and was 3rd place overall in 1990. I am moving and want someone to build them and fly them nd enjoy them. I have radios too but will list them later.

Right now I am discovering how to put some of my kits for sale in the proper place but i am having a bit of trouble...lol

I have the following kits: Gnome 2m, Mirage, Gnome 2M FUSE only, Bird of Time with fiberglass fuse, Robbe Rofly German (with a bit of wing damage), SULA Bird (Soarong Club of Los Angeles - club plane), Paragon, Legend, Thermic 100, Sagitta 100, Viking, SB7 Superschnell-Baukasten Hegi 153 German, RO8, Gnome Hand launch (55"), Sailaire (14'), Drifter II, another RO8 and a P38L Lightening.

It's great to see a forum like this one still going!

I want to take a moment to tell you all how much I appreciate your helping me with this emotional part of my life.  I do not want to let these kits go but, saying that, I am knowing that the people that end up with them will cherish them as much as I did, and probably more.  Besides having to move because my house is SO upside down ($425,000 eight years ago is now worth $179,000), I can't keep them.  I joined this site with the suggestion of an employee at Hobby Lobby because I knew you love the vintage planes.

I am keeping my Gnome 2m, the Raven flying wing, and maybe one other plane (Gemini MTS) but everything is going to have to go.  I have radios, balsa parts (like wing ribs I made for experimental planes) and other goodies you all know that accumulates over the years.  In my past, I have built 156 planes for others and I've lost count of the ones I made for myself.

I used a Paragon in the yearly contest called SC squared (Southern California Soaring Clubs) and in 1990, I finished 3rd in the year long competition.  My Gnome 2m won many 2m contests too.

Anyway, there's a little about myself.

Jared - I was the one that looked like santa with my full white beard and I flew my black/blur paragon.  I was the one that won the San Diego SC squared event to move myself from 4th place to 3rd place at the year end results.  Pushed Perkins out of 3rd...lol.  Martin was 1st, Joe Wirts was 2nd, me third and Darrel Perkins 4th.

I went out to my garage and looked at the kit. My electric plane is a Nick Ziroli Signature Series 1/10 standoff scale RG-51E electric plane with retract wheels kitted by House of Balsa. I bought a 6 channel Airtronics VG6000 radio with 5 94091Z servos and a 92515z receiver with an 18" antenna.

I'll try to show pix tomorrow if I can.

Here's a link to learn more about it:

ps. I plan on keeping this plane...lol
