The Eastern Soaring League April Newsletter is Now Available
The Eastern Soaring League April Newsletter is Now Available <hr size="1" style="color: rgb(197, 204, 211); background-color: rgb(197, 204, 211); " /> The newsletter goes out to over 400 current and past ESL pilots. I also post it on the ESL web site, minus some photos. It can be found here: http://www.flyesl.org/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=453 This first newsletter of the 2012 season is packed with articles and informational references that I hope you will find interesting and useful. I focus more on content than format so things are pretty plain, but hopefully the content is worth your time. We start with a greeting from our President, Josh Glaab. Then we highlight the new ESL website.www.flyesl.org For anyone interested in the NATs or World Soaring Masters we have information for you. Next is the ESL calendar for 2012. We have an article on the economics of upgrading a 72 MHz sailplane radio to 2.4 GHz. There are two articles related to alternate launching systems and an announcement of some new glider carry bags. John Marien's LSF Corner is included. As usual there is the " found on the web" section. I have included a few that are just there for fun. Please be aware that new ESL members are not automatically added to the Newsletter mailing list. If you know of a new ESL member, or if you would like to be added to our mailing list, send me and e-mail and I will add it to the Newsletter mailing list. I hope you enjoy this edition of the ESL Newsletter. Ed Anderson Newsletter Editor Eastern Soaring League www.flyesl.org |
