Thermal or slope?

I got my 8 hour flight at Camelback, I think it was off Hwy 380. It was twenty years ago, but I think it was a state park with a 1100 foot hill, takes wind out of the north to fly it.

Thanks soar rich! I should've specify. I actually like to fly both. I did fly at Camelback, although staff there complained that I killed their 2.4GhZ radios.

Thermal I fly anywhere I see a good field or parking lot (asking permission first if I could, except maybe at Delaware Water Gap) but can't find anything big enough or flat enough to go steady.

East Stroudsburg airport is not the best spot as I could interfere with airport operation or jumpers. In-fact any active airport is not the greatest place to fly RC.
I did find on the map big enough field on a back of the Stroud Mall - gotta check with the owner.
Any active RC glider pilots in the area? Let's have a meet.
cheers,
Mark

just thought I'd post a picture of the site I've found by the Stroud Mall (taken from Samurai RC glider on December 4 2011).

I'm near Allentown PA, looking for a sailplane/ RC club or anyone to share the sport and learn from. Main interest is thermal soaring, would also like to find a slope site. Found one in Jim Thorpe at the top of Flagstaff mountain. Flying a FZ Calypso on an Aurora 9. Building a Topmodel Adriana. Also have CTH Titan and Assassin wings.
Anyone willing to share lessons learned or could use some company in this area?
