There is a glider day any kinda glider event in Bolivar Mo Sat 10/25 10am
No landing fee, donations for brats and burgers, RAFFLE for a Duet 2 m sailplane kit a new design SWEET lil sailplane.

Well Here we go again! PERFECT, seriously, PERFECT forecast. Adam Quennoz (This is his / Bolivar's event ) really picked THE perfect day! Ed you're gonna miss a good one!
Glider activity continues to grow well in SW Mo. People are doing pure glider contests with very sophisticated sailplanes to a rash of Radians and a good deal of sailplanes in the" BETWEEN" classes. Lot of electric birds. A whole lot of fun going on. There is active work being done to obtain a SAILPLANE dedicated field. And many new guys and old farts really enjoying thermaling and competition at several levels. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow!
