Default Flying again after 30 years away

Boy, has the hobby sure changed. Anyway bought a Radian XL and a Spectrum 6 channel radio. The XL was tail heavy by 3.5 grams, after getting that corrected, there were some test throws to check CG. Boy was the elevator way off. the out of the box setting, and instructions were off a good bit. After sorting those issues, it was power on and away she went. Did 6 flights over a 3 hour span, and took the bird home still in one piece. It was like I had never stopped, everything came back instantly.

Now I need help. Is there a way to program some down elevator, when the throttle is at full? I ask because I had to trim down elevator during power on and then up elevator for gliding.

thanks for the help, and any pointers on the Radian.

The most I can offer you is a big WELCOME BACK! Other then that I have been reading about some guys upgrading the motor and a couple wing failures when flown too fast.

what radio system do you use? you can always do a mixing of throttle to elevator, this is in the program menu under mixing
