Landing points tape
Can anyone give me the dimensions of a landing points tape and intervals of point markings or where I might find this information? Smoking Joe

The best ones are made from cargo strap webbing with a large eyelet staked into one end. The markings are at 3" increments 1 point per increment. 100 points total. Measured to the nose of the upright intact sailplane.

Hugh: Thank you Sir. I was beginning to believe I was imagining there was such a tape used in a sailplane contest. If I remember correctly ours was made from the material you mentioned. Thanks again. Smoking Joe
