I am looking to purchase a scale or semi-scale large (wingspans between 100 - 140 inches) sailplane. Looking for recommendations on where to purchase one. I tried Northeast Sailplane Products ..... great web site with many scale sailplanes....... but when I called they had NONE in stock. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bob

They have a 140" DG600, and a 160" ASH26.

They have several large scale models, up to 208"

And if you like to build : Look at my HP, MT Models , the Ka6e and Ka7 will be available approx. in a month, the Flair Ka8 is available right now.

There is a guy out of New York that was importing large european gliders and I think that he is still providing info for people to obtain them. I am sorry that I can not remember the web site or his name (I seem to remember that his first or last name was Robin), but i'll bet that someone can give you the way to contact him.

The guy you are looking for is Robin Lehmann of Sailplanes Unlimited ,
but he is not importing anymore as far as I know.

Hey guys

I generally import my sailplanes myself if u want to go one with all the work of contacting the people transfering the money and dealling with US costumes.

If not Robin for sure can help u to get connections.

War auf deinem Site allerdings sind deine segler was fuer Holzwuermer leider nicht fuer mich abe die KA7 sieht toll aus bin halt zu faul.
Wann kommst du mal nach Florida. Im februar ist wieder Pensacola angesagt must umbedingt mal vorbeischauen.

Werds auf jeden Fall naechstes Jahr versuchen.
Zu "meinen" Fliegern : Aber es gibt hierzulande doch sicherlich genug Leute die sich fuer so etwas interessieren, oder ?
Ich meine speziell in den Gegenden in welchen es so etwas wie Winter gibt, Ihr habt da unten ja das ganze Jahr Flugwetter , wir in den noerdlichen Breiten muessen uns dann im Bastelkeller verkriechen.
