light weight switch
Having tried the 1/8" head phone jack for a switch/charge jack I decided I did not like it. I am tired of having things protrude from the sides of my fuselages or take up room inside. Not to mention more connectors to keep track of. So I came up with the following. I used standard male and female servo connectors. No moving parts and light. I leave the pig tail inside the fuse (has slip on nose).

RE: light weight switch
You mentioned "more connectors to keep track of". I counted two connectors in your diagram ( "jumper plug and charge plug"). I only need one connector w/ my 1/8" headphone jack setup.

RE: light weight switch
Ya I kept misplacing the phone jack. The jack for the charger is one that is universal to all my rx packs and the jumper says with the plane by way of a piece of string.
