Default boom for rchlg

I need a 7.6g, 32" long Avia Skinny boom for Mark Drela's Apogee RCHLG. Is there a Canadian retailer that carries this product? Buying from the US would be too costly for me. Is there a suitable substitute for the Skinny boom that I could get in Canada?

As far as I can see the selection of Composites in Canada is pretty limited. You might try www.greathobbies.com . There was/is a kite shop on Granvile Island that was supposed to stock quite a few booms and a lot of carbon rod.
On a side note, which Apogee are you building? I'd love to make one but I don't have access to any molds and I couldn't trust myself to be able to faithfully reproduce the correct airfoil in wood.
Cheers,
Grant
