Help ID a pair of gliders
It's really sad when you have had a couple gliders so long you can't remember what they are anymore.
Anyone know?
I flew these in the 80's.. We recently brought them down from my fathers attic.
Both are 2m 2channel planes.
Someday I'll get back over there and haul down the 4m V tail

RE: Help ID a pair of gliders
Thanks for the info!
The 2nd one has a 2 piece wing that slides on over a pair of music wire rods.
I didn't have the rods handy so I just set the wings next to the fuselage. Normally it would be a shoulder wing.
Sorry if it looks like a low wing in the pics.
I have a 2nd set of slope wings for it that are flat with alerons but I know they are custom jobs made by the original builder.
It was built by Frank Carruthers (sp?), one of the best builders I've met. Frank passed away over 20 years ago but his planes keep on flying.
